God Gave Man Inner Reflection - Can Machines Do That?
Many scientists and researchers are trying to duplicate man?s mind in artificial intelligent robots. This concerns many Biblical Scholars and Devout Christians and it really pisses off those of the Muslim Faith. They say there is no way for man to create a machine capable of gods creation, nor is it possible to better Gods efforts through the use of add-on brain technology or computer-human interfaces.
Recently one biblical scholar and devout Christian from the UK declared on a Think Tank this exact sentiment. Indeed he stated during such an argument that; ?One evidence of this is that you have a self-knowledge, you know yourself, you have an inner reflection!?
This was met with skepticism from an Atheist member of the think tank, who had something to say in condemnation of the Christian anti-technology comments:
?All higher mammals we know to have higher reflection of self. I also believe much sea life does too, as well as birds. Some reptiles also appear to. Insects, we can certainly learn a lot from all their 400 million years of evolution or more, as well as their incredible turnover of renditions and modifications due to shorter life spans and ability to reproduce in the 1,000s some of them. My dog has inner reflection.?
Indeed in researching this issue we see that mankind is closer to developing artificial intelligence, which can recognize itself in the mirror:
